joy of LOVE 13: routine

Our Sunday routine here is pretty much round up the loose ends of the weekend bf the week start. One of those things included making 20 little Valentine's for the boy's classmates. Of course I waited till the very last day to try & buy some store bought cards. I knew I was asking for trouble. I've lived on this island long enough to know if you snooze, you loose. Thank God we were able to grab the last package of construction paper otherwise these might have been made out of coffee filters & printer paper.

  8. Those are cool! I learned my lesson last year and bought my valentines the second I saw them in January this year. :) The lessons of this island: buy valentines ASAP, stock up on pumpkin before fall, and buy canned artichokes before thanksgiving. :)

  11. We bought ours super early this year and then the teachers sent notes home requesting handmade valentines if possible. Well, it wasn't possible because mine were too committed to what they picked out, but next year we'll be crafting away. These came out so pretty (much better than the ones we bought!)
