We've recently discovered some great new friends that live down the street from us. I tell you, these friends can cook too. They've invited us over for Mexican & Greek. This weekend they brought us left over smoked brisket, bbq sauce, pasta salad & cole slaw & them Sunday morning brought us fresh (STILL WARM!) cranberry orange scones! Tonight, my dear neighbor showed up on my doorstep w a Margarita! Honestly, I've been bugging them for margaritas ever since I had one of theirs a few weeks ago! They are ah-mazing. It couldn't have come at a better time either. My whole house was in full 5:30 meltdown mode. Ah, serenity now!

Clearly, I could have widened my aperture to allow more light in but as you can probably tell, I was very thirsty.

  3. Awesome! I wish we all lived close to one another, so we could stand out shooting our kids while they play every night and enjoy your neighbors treats!! ;)

  4. Perhaps your neighbors should move to California :) And, imo, the image is properly exposed. If you had wanted more than the rim in focus you could have closed down the ap, but if you had opened more you would have had such a slim dof that only a grain or two of salt would be in focus, and the highlights on the cup would probably have been blown (if you hadn't changed your ss and iso) If you want me to stop lecturing you... just tell me to quit it :)
